He went to Indiana University for 2 years and then 6 years at Purdue where he received his veterinary degree. He has 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren and still enjoys practicing veterinary medicine. He enjoys surgery, especially difficult to diagnose cases. There is hardly a day that goes by where he is not consulting with the Purdue specialists on a case.
